Brainspotting

Brain Spotting is a therapeutic technique that taps into the deep brain and the body through its direct access to the autonomic and limbic systems within the body's central nervous system. The therapist helps the client access unprocessed memories and emotions linked to trauma through bilateral stimulation, usually achieved by eye movement and bilateral sound. Brainspotting allows individuals to observe and process their experiences from a safe distance and in a secure environment, leading to powerful insights and emotional release that traditional talk therapy can often take longer to achieve.

Brainspotting and Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy

By combining Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy and Brainspotting, clients can utilize a low (psycholytic) dose of ketamine during a Brainspotting session to help lower the default mode network and facilitate the processing of distressful memories or emotions, thereby increasing access to process challenging material that may be too distressing to access with Brainspotting alone.
